my sweet boys

I'm tired of being gloomy!

Actually, I'm also tired of being tired.

Everything seems to be unraveling at once, what with preparations for the deployment and my fun times driving in the snow. This sinus infection I have is possibly getting better, but in the meantime it's kicking my butt. I actually took a pregnancy test yesterday, because the only other time I've had exhaustion, dizzy spells, nausea, trouble eating, and major trouble with smells, like I am right now, was when I was pregnant with the Little Mister. (It was negative, and for that I am thankful...I had a difficult pregnancy, and would hate to go through that without the Sergeant and while chasing after the Little Mister!)

But...even during rough times there is reason to smile: just look at my boys!!

They have been fabulous the past few days, making me smile, giving me comfort when it's needed. Laughter really is the best medicine!

...although I won't say no to my codeine cough syrup...

:)

  9. My goodness, I have been thinking the same thing the past few weeks- that I haven't felt like this since I was pregnant. I did eyeball the pegnancy test but I didn't take it. Congestion is not a sign of pregnancy! But, congrats on your codine. My doctor only gave me mucinex which can dry up breast milk so I couldn't even take it.

  16. Wow -- that's an adorable photo.

Have you ever tried washing out your sinuses with salt water? My mom swears by it and my best friend just wrote to me yesterday... also swearing by it. I think there's some kind of ceramic pot that you can buy to flush your sinuses out... (I love giving helpful advice.)

    Kim and pearl.

  20. It sounds like so many people (myself included) have been feeling down this winter. And you have extra reason with the deployment.
Hang in there. Spring has GOT to be coming soon!

Maybe it's just the cough syrup tired you out.
