Did you know that Mary was a pilot? When it was time to go she and Joseph rented a plane and flew to Bethlehem.
The inn was full when they arrived, so Mary had to give birth to her baby in a stable. She named him Jesus. They were watched over by a guardian sheep.

Three wise men and a young Hawaiian girl traveled from afar to bring gifts to the newborn king...
...but suddenly they were trampled by a giant!!!
The Hawaiian girl was the lone survivor, arriving in Bethlehem to present the young Jesus with a small blue cell phone.
Watch out, guardian sheep! The giant is back!
This post is brought to you with lots of help from the Little Mister for Painted Maypole's Monday Mission - to write a post as a children's story. This is a nostalgic Monday Mission...I did it last January too. Fun! :)
That's amazing. And funny. And so true. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI also love the creche set; perfect for a little guy.
I LOVE the little people. That's such an adorable nativity set, too, Hawaiian girl and all. One holiday down, one to go! Just keep on keeping on ... have you seen "Finding Nemo"? (With Ellen Degeneres?)("Just keep on fishing, keep on fishing, keep on fishing...")
ReplyDeleteadorable! and even with a whole cabinet full of little people, we don't have ANY of those!
ReplyDeleteWatch Out Wise Men!!! This is one of the best nativity stories I've ever heard:) And I'm just going to put it out there - I think a cell phone is a very appropriate gift in this day and age.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute nativity set. It seems like he is really enjoying playing with it and getting into pretending. What a big boy!

ReplyDeleteThat was great! Too, too funny. Especially the bit about the lone survivor and her practical gift. Who really needs myrrh, anyhow?

ReplyDeleteThat is HILARIOUS!! I love the Hawaiin girl with the the blue cell phone!
ReplyDeleteI grew up on little people, and we have the nativity set, but Junior lost baby Jesus the first day it was out. I'm sure I'll find it in the middle of summer.
