highlight

We went to Trier...


...and to Luxembourg...



...and I even had my picture taken (hardly ever happens anymore).


But this, right here, was the highlight of my day:

    That looks like a WONDERFUL day! I've been to England a couple of times, and I am amazed at the history all around me. I would love to get to see the other European countries!

    Thanks so much for sharing!! I saw London and parts of Spain a couple of years ago and am still sad I couldn't have seen more.

    My favorite part of the last picture is that Tigers hat!! :) Go Tigers!!

    Karen: I'm actually a Cubs fan...but the Sergeant grew up in Detroit, and his sister sent the hat as a gift. I like the hat...but I'm still a Cubs fan. :)


    By the way...did y'all see what my husband pointed out to me? I'm actually in the last picture!!

    Hey -- is that a Detroit hat that the little man is wearing? So sweet and cute.

    I've been to both Trier and Luxembourg. I'm always awestruck at the beauty and history that surrounds us in Europe. Have you been to England yet?

    Hi, I loved your blog, such beautiful pictures! I too am an expat.. i'm british but living in The Netherlands, it's always nice to talk to others who are living far from home, although i'm much closer to home than you are.
