i'm still alive....really!!

I haven't been posting much lately. I haven't been reading many blogs, and I've been commenting on even fewer. Hopefully that will change soon...

Every day I think about posting. I decided, however, that it would better to be known as "that blogger who doesn't post much these days" instead of "that blogger who whines and complains a lot." Because if I were to write about what's going on these days, here's a sample of what you'd read:

I'm sick.

The migraines are never-ending.

The coughing is making me crazy.

I'm exhausted.

I cannot believe how much energy it takes to be mommy to a nine month old.

The Sergeant is gone, and that makes everything so much harder. (He's not deployed yet, he's just TDY for a week.)

The Little Mister and I were supposed to go with the Sergeant.

But I'm sick.

And repeat.

I'm starting to feel slightly human, though. And we might go meet the Sergeant tomorrow; he's only a few hours away in a very beautiful city. Hopefully I'll have pictures later this week!

In the meantime, I leave you with pictures (and also a video!) of the Little Mister, who doesn't quit being adorable just because his mommy is sick. Hooray for smiling faces!

  1. I'm sorry you're having a rough time. Please, though, don't feel like you shouldn't vent. We'll listen.

Your baby has a great smile.

  5. I started blogging with the idea it would bring business to our store but found it was a great release for feelings, frustrations, etc. I figure if people don't want to read it, I'm can't make them. I just write it for me:) So please, feel free to vent. We'll love you anyway:-)

  6. Bleah. You know my opinion on TDY. Everything bad happens then - cheerios on the carpet buy me lots of time to recover from migraines. usually anyway.

  13. That's horrible that you get migraines. Try Excedrin Tension Headache. If you take it when you feel one coming on and in some cases when you actually have it, it manages to stop it.

  19. He is sooo cute!! My daughter who is 9 months loves to sit around and wave, too. If we got them together, I bet they could keep each other busy for hours!

  23. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe a diet revamp is in order? Sometimes foods are headache triggers. Diet Soda is mine.

  24. What a cute video. Such an enthusiastic "hi" from the little guy!

I hope things continue to get happier and healthier for you. Migraines sound awful.

And yeah, it is pretty amazing how much energy it takes to have a wee one around. My brain tends to turn to mush at the end of the day.

  25. I have been wondering about you. I am sorry you are so sick STILL. It's okay to be whiney sometimes though. We understand.

I am glad to hear you were able to make the trip. I look forward to hearing about it.
